Ward 2 faces by-election with Voting Day April 11 Oakville's Ward 2 residents will return to the polls in April. Town council voted during Monday's (Nov. 16) meeting to officially declare the seat of Pam Damoff, the former Ward 2 Town councillor, vacant. A special meeting of council will be held Monday, Jan. 11 to introduce a bylaw calling for a by-election to fill the vacancy. Upon approval of the bylaw, nominations may be filed starting Tuesday, Jan. 12 until Friday, Feb. 26. Voting Day will be held Monday, April 11.
