www.insideHALTON.com | OAKVILLE BEAVER | Friday, December 4, 2015 | 26 MOHA seeking Rangers rep coaches for next season The Minor Oaks Hockey Association is currently accepting applications for head coaches of all of its rep teams for the 2016-17 season. In order to coach an Oakville Rangers rep team, applicants must meet Hockey Canada and Ontario Minor Hockey Association certification requirements prior to the beginning of the season and must be prepared to make time commitments both on and off the ice. MOHA is seeking high-calibre coaches who conduct themselves with integrity and are committed to not only advancing the development of their own players and team, but also the entire Rangers program. "We are looking for enthusiastic head coaches who can contribute to teaching our young athletes physical skill and mental toughness as players while acting as role models off the ice," stated an MOHA release. "These qualities among others will be considered when determining head coach positions for the 2016-17 season." Non-parent coaches are welcomed and encouraged to apply for any available positions. Anyone interested in coaching a Rangers rep team next year is invited to submit a head coach application (which can be downloaded at bit.ly/1XEbe8l) to the attention of the Rep Coach Selection Committee, c/o Melissa Wolk at mwolk@moha.ca, or in person at the MOHA office (2526 Speers Rd., Units 10-13). The deadline for applications is Thursday, Dec. 10, and interviews will be scheduled for the week of Dec. 14-18, with the goal of announcing AAA coaches prior to the Christmas break. Buffalo Wild Wings will hold eight other Alive Event official viewing parties throughout the GTA this season, each of which will be hosted by a Leafs alumnus.
