At top right, Lili Warren's Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls are on display at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre's main lobby, 2302 Bridge Rd., until Sunday (Jan. 3). Sugar Skulls (at top left) celebrate the Mexican Day of the Dead (Nov. 1-2) and are meant to honour those who have died. The art form gets its name because of the use of molded sugar. Warren's skulls are made of plaster of Paris. Above, The Amice Calverley: A Legend & Legacy exhibition at Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre, 1086 Burnhamthorpe Rd. E., runs until Jan. 10, 2016.
