G len A bbey resident N icole Roberts joined RAB in 1999 after m oving to O akville from Calgary. L ast year, N icole was jo in ed by her friend and neighbour. R achel Lew czuk. Both girls echo the w ords -- Ringette Rocks. A fter her first year on the ice, R achel says, "Anyone w ho plays ringette loves it." A nother G len A bbey resident, V ictoria Allen, begins her first year as a Bunny player this sea son. A fter w atching her three cousins play ringette in Ham ilton, Victoria is ready to lace up her skates and give it a w hirl. V ictoria w ill have lots o f support from her m om , Susan, who played the gam e in M ontreal. R iver O aks player Sara Fayed enters her sixth season w ith RAB. Sara has com e a long way from her beginnings as a Bunny player barely able to stand on skates. Sara quips that, "If ringette was easy, they w ould call it hockey!". The ringette inform ation day will be an opportunity to register in person and m eet infor m ally w ith the coaching team s and RAB execu tive.
