On the day o f the attack, I was getting my hair done. This was Grad Photo day. I was to look my best for some pictures that would make my parents proud and provide me with fond memories. Who knew that I would be giving up what was supposed to be "my day," for one of the biggest tragedies since the second World War? By 9:30 a.m., my hair had been done and I was ready to set off to school. After over-hearing talk and radio announce ments about the explosions at the `Tw in Towers," I was confused and wanted to learn more. By the time I sat down in stu dent services and listened to the radio with a small group o f students and teach ers, I was devastated. Wild thoughts ran through my mind. How much tragedy will continue? Will there be a war? Is the world to end as we know it? Well, the world has changed, and it will never be the same again. O ur free dom is threatened.
