Out of the Blues at Moonshine Oakville Improv presents its comedy jam, Out of the Blues, focusing on the winter blues and shaking them off. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at The Moonshine Café, 137 Kerr St., and features improvisers: Jeremy Butler, Pam Cooper, Bob Kapur, Terri Skov, Christine Pillman, Amy McKenzie, Jennifer Silvestro, James Jeffers and Lea Wilkening, as well as special guests Lisa Merchant, Jack Mosshammer and Oakville Improv's Gary Pearson. The annual gala was a fundraiser for the new Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. While expressing Chinese tradition, it gave back to the local community. More than $3,200 was raised during the show and donated along with ticket revenue, as a $5,889 cheque was presented to Tina Triano, CEO of Oakville Hospital Foundation.
