The comedy, written by Michael Jacobs, officially opened at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts Wednesday (Feb. 3) and is the fourth show in the 2015/16 Oakville Drama Series. "I invite everyone to come and laugh with West and shake the February blues away," said director Yo Mustafa. The story follows couple Allen and Michelle who find themselves at a turning point in their relationship. "Michelle thinks it's time they marry. Allen isn't sold. When they go in search of relationship guidance from their parents, hilarity ensues," stated a media release. "They decide an introductory dinner between the families is needed.... Hidden trysts and complications make this comedy a rollicking look at love and relationships." Remaining performances run Feb. 4-6 at 8 p.m., while the show's run ends with a Sunday (Feb. 7) matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $28 for the evening performances and $22 for the matinee.
