Legacy OTMH hospital site continues selling surplus goods by David Lea Oakville Beaver Staff 25 | Thursday, February 11, 2016 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com People interested in getting some used furniture for a bargain can try their luck by attending the Hospital Closing Equipment and Furniture Sale, which will take place at the Reynolds Street Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) legacy site on Saturday, Feb. 20 and Sunday, Feb. 21. As part of the decommissioning process for the hospital, surplus furniture and appliances are being sold to the public with all funds raised going to Halton Healthcare for re-investment. The sale will run each day from 8:30 a.m.3:30 p.m. The showcase items, which are available on a rst-come, rst-served basis, include: televisions ranging from 32 inches and up; refrigerators; tables; metal shelving; clocks; power cords and much more. The tables have been priced at approximately $200 and refrigerators at $200 and less. There will also be silent auctions taking place at 10 a.m., on both the Saturday and Sunday. The items up for bid include: various pieces of of ce furniture, harvest tables and more. The Readiness Group Inc., which is organizing the event, says all items have been examined to ensure they are in working order and t for re-sale. The group says it is a leading rm in the area of activations, relocations and decommissioning for large capital development projects. Those who attend the sale may enter through the old hospital's main entrance. Parking will be provided.
