Henderson l Obituaries FARLEY, Paul On February 22, 2016 we said goodbye to Paul James Farley. Born in Toronto on February 10, 1931. Moved to Oakville in 1966. A graduate of St. Michael's College, Toronto. He leaves his beloved wife of 51 years, Esther; his sister-inlaw Betty, brother-in-law Jack (of England), brother Denis, sister-inlaw Wendy, many wonderful nieces and nephews and cousins of whom he was most fond. Paul was an active member of St. Michael's Church and helped with many funerals, the Probus Club of Oakville, the wonderful choir of St. Michael's and the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Paul was on the Oakville Council for 20 years and an investigator for Customs and Excise in Toronto until his retirement at 58 years old. Paul was a true gentleman and a life long friend to many people especially to Mike and Ross. Paul always helped people along the way. He certainly was a man for all seasons and will be sorely missed by all who loved him. A Funeral Mass of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville. Loving husband of Margaret for 42 years and devoted father of Ryan and Erin. Will also be missed by his brother Blair and his wife Melissa, seven caring nieces and their families. Born on December 22, 1945 in Mather, MB, to parents Karl and Verda (Dennison). Attended the University of Manitoba before moving to Toronto in 1967. Gayne was proud to become a Chartered Accountant soon after. He and Margaret (Bawden) were married on March 15, 1974. Ryan was born in 1977 and Erin followed in 1979. Gayne lived in Oakville for 40 years, but remained a western boy at heart. He had this summer returned home to Mather for his 50th high school reunion with his closest friends Bob Argue and Eric Harrison.
