- The post card front says, "St. Valentine's Greeting" but it was sent on May 11, 1908 so it must have just been handy for use as well as being so pretty.
Mary's parents owned a hotel in Hagersville, Haldimand County. According to the wiki managed by Dave Rutherford and linked here for your further information, Frank and Mary "bought several farms outside of Hagersville [in] the community of Springvale,Ontario...where they raised and milked cattle and raised guinea fowl...." This information was collected originally by Dr. David Faux.
Unfortunately, we don't know who the writer, Mabel, was nor do we know the connection to Trafalgar Township. - Inscriptions
