Description
This two and a half storey brick and timber building at 139 Main Street South was built in 1882 by John R. Barber. The Queen Anne style mansion was designed by Edward J. Lennox, a well-known architect. It has been modified extensively and is now an apartment building.

This photo was taken on the same day as EHS10877 and 11053. This is one in a series of photos for the Georgetown urban inventory, Phase I.
