This study examined various transportation issues in the College Park neighbourhood. Public concerns around traffic congestion, vehicle speeds and safety were raised in the study area, which led the town to undertake this study. The study specifically focuses on the intersection of Sixth Line and McCraney Street and on transportation issues around the various schools in the area. The study area does not include Sheridan College, the Oakville Place shopping centre, or roads under the jurisdiction of Halton Region (e.g. Trafalgar Road, Upper Middle Road, South Service Road).
