At around 6:30 a.m., police received a call from a witness who said he saw a dump truck strike the south side of the bridge. When officers arrived, no vehicle was pres- ent, however, police noticed what appeared to be marks on the concrete of the bridge. Rail line officials suspended traffic over the bridge until a team could be dispatched to inspect it for damage. Police said this team found the bridge to be structurally sound and train traffic was resumed. Police said they found pieces of the vehicle they believe was involved at this incident.
