Lakeshore Road remained closed for more than six hours, between Dorval and Maurice drives, as crews worked on removing the downed pole and repairing hydro lines. Halton Regional Police are investigating the cause of the crash, including impairment by substance as a possible factor, according to Staff-Sgt. While the person taken to hospital had undetermined injuries, the Camry's male driver did not require hospitalization.
