The music producer, journalist, musician and media personality also created a local live music series Sunday Nights with Michael Williams @ El Salon in November 2015. The new open mic event will also take place at A Taste of Colombia café, 67 Bronte Rd., Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. "The acoustic event is your chance to let loose, relax, practice that new song, enjoy a great cup of coffee and get up close and personal with your audience," according to Williams. "Music always needs a place to go the night after the day before. So, if you are a professional musician or just starting out, come join us to decompress and learn," he continued.
