As a mental health advocate in recent years, Margaret has spoken openly about how unprepared she was to be in the spotlight and the roller coaster of emotions she experienced for decades. Margaret will be sharing her personal journey in battling mental illness, along with a message of resilience, at the 2016 annual Mental Health Week Speaker's Event May 4. The event will take place at the Oakville Conference Centre on Wyecroft Road from 6:30-9 p.m. and is being hosted by the Canadian Mental Health Association Halton Regional Branch (CMHA-HRB) and sponsor Mercedes-Benz Burlington.
