Police say the incident began around midday when a driver, cut off by a vehicle while travelling on Hwy. 401, followed the vehicle to a Halton Hills gas station in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Trafalgar Road. Police allege the driver then rammed the vehicle, damaging the driver's side of the car and disabling it. He then got out of his car and began punching the damaged car with his bare sts, injuring himself in the process, say police. It is alleged he then tried to pull the other driver from the damaged vehicle, at which point bystanders came to the second driver's aid and succeeded in separating the two. Police say the rampaging driver then got back in his car and left the area, nearly hitting a pedestrian. see Suspect on p.3 Dozens of employees from Siemens' Oakville of ce took part in an Earth Day tree planting along Munn's Creek Friday (April 22), planting hundreds of trees with the assistance of Conservation Halton.
