Beloved husband of Ethel (68 years). Loving father to Heather (Murray) and Tina (Paul). Cherished grandfather to Aaron (Melania), Tanya (Shaun), David and Zoe, and great-grandfather to Mya and Caleb. Harold was born in Ogmore Vale, South Wales, and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He was a longtime resident of Oakville who also worked within our community. Harold was an inspiration to many and had a zest for life. We will carry on in Harold's example; working hard, loving deeply, and taking time to enjoy everyday life. He will be forever remembered by many relatives and friends in Canada and Wales. As a favourite Welsh poem says...To be born Welsh is to be born privileged. Not with a silver spoon in your mouth, but with music in your blood and poetry in your soul. Harold had a beautiful caring soul, and he will be forever in our hearts. Harold was laid to rest at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery, Oakville. A service was held at Glen Oaks on April 11, 2016, followed by interment.
