Suspect chasing pedestrians Halton public school board sets continued from p.1 Shortly later, at approximately 12:32 p.m., police were called to Main Street and Guelph Line in Campbellville where a person, police believe was the same individual, was chasing pedestrians. Police reported one pedestrian was pushed to the ground and sustained minor injuries. At some point during these altercations, police say, an attempt was made to steal a cellphone. The individual then attempted to get into moving cars, but failed, according to police. Officers arrived on the scene and made an arrest. A suspect was taken to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, for treatment for injuries, where it is alleged he spat on an officer. Errol Gonsalves, 43, of Orangeville faces charges including: robbery, two counts of dangerous driving, assault and assaulting a police officer.
