This marked the first time in five years that the student body held the fundraiser in support of cancer research. Relay for Life events are being held throughout the spring and see participants typically walk throughout the night in their bid to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society and light memorials that line the walking track in honour or in memory of those fighting or lost to cancer.
