S T A Y I N G M O T I V A T E D Saturday event recognizes Naturopathic Medicine Week The Oakville Naturopathic Wellness Centre is recognizing Naturopathic Medicine Week (May 9-15) with an event Saturday (May 14). Held at the 2172 Wyecroft Rd., unit 22, centre, the day will include several activities participants can choose from -- the event runs from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. A free tness and yoga class will be offered by yoga teachers Aliza Blair and Lisa Forrest from 9-10 a.m., while from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., participants will be able to meet some of the practitioners that work at the Oakville Naturopathic Wellness Centre. Those who attend will be able to sign up for complimentary 10-minute consults with naturopathic doctors, osteopathic manual practitioners, registered massage therapists, holistic nutritionists, sports nutritionists, live blood microscopy technicians, and personal trainers. Participants will also be able to sign up for a free 15-minute Metabolic Balance overview and hear success stories form clients who have used the food-based program that alters blood pressure, cholesterol levels and weight.
