It will support various programs it offers to those living with Alzheimer's or dementia, as well as their families. Pass the Puck for ALZ The event is in memory of Gillis' father, Robert (Bob) Lachance. "Unfortunately, my story is so similar to many others that have a loved one who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's or dementia," she said. "Our shared love of hockey was always a special connection between us, and after his passing, I knew I wanted to do this tournament in his honour." Danielle Arbour, public education co-ordinator for the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton, will be joined by Gillis for the puck drop. The final game will be played at 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.passthepuck4alz.com. ® Ultimate Drivers "Driver Training That Makes a Difference" SIGN UP ONLINE Program Oakville trails system tells the town's story continued from p.3 150 Community Infrastructure Program, I am pleased this project will strengthen and expand our community's infrastructure," said Oliver.
