The Prestige Auto Group, based out of Calgary, Alberta recently acquired the Oakville dealerships because of its location, market and their ability to help grow the brand within Oakville. Consisting of 10 automotive brands and dealerships across Calgary and Edmonton, the group, which took possession of the Oakville dealership on May 1, has years of business experience and a proven track record in amazing customer service and satisfaction. It is the largest Toyota dealer group in the country, with this dealership being the first acquisition in Ontario, the Prestige Auto Group is looking to expand their opportunities within the area, and to provide an exceptional experience to their new customers. "The dealership has a high level of customer retention but hasn't grown at the rate of other competing Nissan and Infiniti Dealerships," said Jeff Forsythe, the new General Manager for Oakville Infiniti and Oakville Nissan, who is returning to Oakville after spending eight years managing dealerships in Calgary. "We see an incredible opportunity with this dealership as Nissan is one of the fastest growing brands in Canada, so there is huge opportunity for growth." Featuring the largest Nissan showroom in Ontario, the dealership will also feature some renovations to update and open up the space, and will be one of the first dealerships to model the new Nissan colour schemes and architectural designs. "We are not only focusing on dealership, we are also making changes to how we reach our customers, with a much stronger approach to digital marketing," said Forsythe. "Customers have a lot of choices now and complete a lot more research online before making a purchase. We want to focus more on reaching out to the customers who are looking for that information." The new website, launching mid May will be multi-platform friendly, and will be accessible from mobile devices, tablets and will contain more interactive information and video features so that customers can easily find the information they need. With service and sales at the heart of the dealership, Oakville Infiniti and Oakville Nissan will be offering customers a newly featured service drive through, as well as express lanes for quick oil changes and basic services. In addition to new car sales, Forsythe plans to increase the volume of pre-owned vehicle sales by offering a better level of pre-owned and better reconditions units.
