Nyland said after their arrival, it took just 10 minutes and two or three pushes for baby Micah to be born. The healthy baby boy weighed eight pounds and 15 ounces, and was born on the living room couch at around 6 a.m. Yelovich said she will redecorate. Throughout the birth, Yelovich said the paramedics were professional and reassuring with one individual holding her hand. After several of the paramedics assessed Micah to make sure he was OK, they cleaned him and handed him to his mother. After a few moments the group went to the hospital where Yelovich says the paramedics stayed with her until their next call. "They were awesome," she said. "I truly feel like I had five angels in my living room that morning." The Halton EMS crew says being there for baby Micah's birth was a great first call for the day. "It was pretty exciting.
