The truck, which crashed at 5:50 p.m., tumbled approximately 20 feet down an embankment on Lower Base Line, east of Bronte Road on the Oakville/Milton border. The "challenging" extrication involved crews from three pumpers and a rescue truck, and required time to dismantle much of the truck while the driver was conscious throughout. Ontario air ambulance service Ornge was dispatched and landed at Milton's Rattlesnake Point Golf Club.
