- Description
- This is how I remember Oakville from my youth. This photo is taken to the left of the old post office (south-west side of entrance to the Lakeside Park). It has a dreamy feel to it. I use to swim in Lake Ontario in the early 1960's. The lake is visible in the photo. I love the view of the overgrown English style gardens. The fence appears to be the original one. This is a dreamy memory for many. Thank you for this photo opportunity, within my home town of beautiful Oakville.
