The Town of Oakville appreciates your feedback and ideas and we encourage you to get involved. At this open house, town staff will update you on the project, review study findings, address public comments and concerns, and ask for your input on the alternative solutions presented. The project study team will be available to answer your questions and take your comments. What is the purpose of this study? The Town of Oakville is undertaking a review of the on-street parking restrictions in the area surrounding the former Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. On-street parking restrictions were added in 2011 to discourage hospital-related traffic and parking from infiltrating into the neighbourhood. Now that the hospital has relocated, the town is reviewing the "no parking" areas in the neighbourhood to determine if they are still appropriate. The study generally includes the area bounded by Pine Avenue, Gloucester Avenue, Sumner Avenue and Trafalgar Road. Questions or comments, please contact: Jill Stephen, P.Eng.
