Halton-area accountants and lawyers volunteer their time to offer a 45minute consultation through the Access to Professionals program. These consulta tions take place at the Halton Region Business Development Centre at 1151 Bronte Road in Oakville. There is a $20 administration fee for this program. Access to Professionals runs on the second Tuesday morning of every month. The next scheduled session is Tuesday, April 11th. It will run from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and lunch will be provided. The cost per individual is $20, including GST. "The program is directed to small, medium and larger firms considering exporting to non-traditional markets, such as eastern European and developing countries," says Tony Khani, export development advisor for Halton Region. This is an existing program put together by a group of people from the export industry, including SGS, an international inspec tion company.
