The local event, which runs Friday-Sunday (June 24-26), is put on by the Oakville Festivals of Film and Art (OFFA). Originally from Burlington, Langton was nominated for best lead actor at the International Filmmakers Festival of World Cinema in Milan in 2015 for his role in Chasing Valentine. After years of performing classical theatre, Langton began pursuing film and television roles in 2013, including the role of Scott in an episode of Suits in 2015 Chasing Valentine tells the story of Chase (Langton), who is unable to get over the loss of the love of his life and stuck with a day job editing adult videos. "Chase meets a `fantasy chef' performer named Valentine who works under the various personas she has created in her life," stated a media release. The film also stars Gwenlyn Cumyn and Bobbie Phillips, and is directed by Navin Ramaswaran.
