Ford was given the Chairman's Award by UW O chair Don Pangman. "An individual or organization that has been a strong supporter of the United Way of Oakville and could easily receive an award in each of the CARE-Y Award cate gories, deserves a special award," he told more than 300 dinner guests. "This award is presented to such an organization. Year after year, request after request, this company has helped the United Way in a number of ways, through sponsor ships of events to running success ful campaigns and being an ambas sador of the United Way year after year."
