He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Brigitte (Primavesi), daughter Christina, son-in-law David (Groth), granddaughters Gillian and Gemma, daughters Angela and Susan, sisters Marjorie and June and brother, Robert and their families. Immigrating to Canada in 1958 from England with his Austrian bride, he settled in Montreal for the next 20 years before moving to Ontario. His career as a mechanical engineer and executive with Sandvik took him around the world many times including four privileged years in Yokohama, Japan. He retired in 1994 after 35 years of service. Anyone who ever met Colin at whatever stage in his life will never forget him. He left a lasting impression on people with his wit, humour, and positive outlook on life. His family would like to sincerely thank the PSW's from OSCAR and Sunrise of Oakville for their patience and care, as well as Dr Danielle Bremermann for her genuine compassion and exceptional support throughout his illness.
