Death of Chas. Taylor
After an illness of several months Chas. Jno. Taylor died on Saturday last at his residence on Kerr street and was laid to rest in St. Jude's cemetery following a service conducted by Canon Smith. The pallbearers were Robt. Kennedy, A. Burkitt, Fred Wilkinson, Frank Cherrington, Jno. Carter and Leonard Stansbury.
Mr. Taylor came to Oakville from South End, Essex, Eng. about twenty-five years ago. He was employed in the Malcolm Sinclair paint works for several years. Besides he was an expert piano tuner.
His widow survives.
