Of cers will carry out the ninth annual Project Safe Start between Monday (Aug. 29) and Tuesday, Sept. 13. The focus of the traf c campaign is to educate and remind everyone to take extra care when driving and look out for children in school zones, residential areas, playgrounds and parks. Police will be targeting speeders, and aggressive and distracted drivers during the campaign. Seatbelt compliance will also be strictly enforced. Frontline, District Response, Education Services, High School Liaison and Senior Command ofcers will all be taking part in the campaign. see Impacting on p.4 Five-year-old Kaiden Nolovic has some fun blowing bubbles at the children's craft table that was set-up at Oakville MPP and Ontario Labour Minister Kevin Flynn's 14th annual community barbecue.
