The individual was taken to the Oakville police station where he was allegedly found to have nearly double the legal limit of alcohol in his system. Jose Mejia-Ambrogi, 41, of Toronto has been charged with impaired driving and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his system. Halton police are reminding residents impaired driving is considered a crime in progress and anyone who sees a suspected impaired driver is encouraged to call 911 immediately.
