The Canadian Central American Relief Effort (CCAMRE) is thanking the Oakville community and volunteers that helped make its care package campaign of gathering and shipping donations to send to Guatemala a success. "Twenty-one volunteers came out to help to place the much needed items in the container with the destination of the Zacapa General Hospital, University of San Carlos of Guatemala and the community of Mayan Chorti in the Merendon Mountains of La Union, Zacapa, Guatemala," said Hilda Rossi, CCAMRE president and co-founder. "What a huge achievement. A sincere gratitude from CCAMRE board of directors and the people of Guatemala to McKenna Logistics Centres, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, St. John Ambulance, Rotary Club Mississauga-Airport, and many members of the Canadian communities in Canada for coming out to help by donating many items for the people of Guatemala." Donations included hygiene items, towels, blankets and linens, plastic storage containers, water bottles, baby and children's clothing, dental items, educational materials and children's plastic flip flop sandals. | submitted photo ® Ultimate Drivers "Driver Training That Makes a Difference" sIGn up onLIne program www.ultimatedrivers.ca For Reinstating Driver's License Prepares you for G2 or G License defensive driving Certificate Minimizes Road Test Time and Qualifies for Maximum Insurance Discount driver retraining program Complete refresher program Helps Reviewing Your Driving Habits for Test on our beGInner drIVer eduCatIon proGram. summer speCIaL $ saVe 100 Authentic Montessori at its Best - For Ages 18 mo.-12 yrs. · An empowering curriculum that engages children · Individual focus to learning your child's preparation and evaluation Warm Up Practice Before the Test advance defensive driving program refresher program Minimizes Road Test Time, Qualifies for Maximum Insurance Discount and Teaches You Emergency Skills Winter time driving Helps overcome your Winter Time Driving Jitters 4 day Condensed llent Exce ices Serv ce Sin 1993 oCtober 7, 8, 9, 10 september 2 & 3 september 10 & 11 2 WeeKends 2380 Wyecroft Road Unit #3 Oakville We Are Licensed by MTO Gift Certificates Available 905-825-1172 · Community atmosphere that makes students feel included and valued · Creative expression allows your child to explore their own interests and talents "Each space reflects the professionalism, pride and dedication of everyone in the school." -CCMA Accreditation Team FAIRVIEW GLEN 905.634.0781 · fairviewglen.com MONTESSORI SCHOOL
