A dozen people took the witness stand, backed by nearly 100 others in the audience, to deliver that message to the Ontario Municipal Board (0MB) Wednesday night. It was a public night in the six-week 0MB * hearing where Palm Place Developments is appealing Town of Oakville council' s refusal of its high-rise proposal for the west half of the for mer Shell House property on Lake Ontario' s shoreline. The Town wants a maximum of 27 low-density homes, not taller than, three storeys. Even that is considered a poor second to Council's preference for the site to be a public waterfront park.
