The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday February 8, 2006 - 9 Police nab graffiti vandals Three teenagers are charged with mischief under $5,000 in connection with graffiti discov ered on the back door of the Church of the Epiphany. At approximately 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, a resident of Oakville observed three youths applying graffiti to the Bronte Road church. Police responded and located three youths a short distance from the church. Investigation revealed that a permanent black marker had been used to place nine differ ent slogans on the church door. Charged are two 15-year-old males and a 16-year-old male, who will appear in Burlington Youth Court on March 23. The names of the three offend ers can't be released under the guidelines of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Police say there has been an increase in graffiti throughout the town of Oakville and if observed, these activities should be report ed. The 39-year-old Rexdale resident was taken to Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital w ith minor injuries. The truck was loaded w ith paper products. The ramp was closed for about four hours.
