Also look for the 2007 FJ Cruiser, the automaker's latest SUV. Volkswagen For enthusiasts ^agerly anticipating the arrival of the new Golf, head over to the VW booth for your first look. Slated to hit showrooms this summer, the all-new Golf is longer, wider and taller than the previous version with more inte rior space and cargo room. Also on display is the turbocharged GTI version. If you need more space, check out the 2007 Passat Wagon. Following on the heels of the redesigned sedan, the stylish wagon is built on a new and larger platform resulting in 1731 litres of cargo space. Also making an appearance is the new hard-top Eos convertible, the world's first 4-seater that features a 5-section roof, incorporating coupe, convertible and sunroof capabilities. For the ultimate in British luxury, be sure to stop by the Rolls-Royce booth for a look at the opulent Phantom sedan. From doors that close remotely with the touch of a button and the 450 individual pieces of hand-finished leather used throughout the interior, to the bookmatched wood veneer trim and wool/cashmere headliner, the Phantom is one sumptuous saloon. Even the "R-R" motif on the hubcaps was carefully thought out -- it is always upright, even when the car is moving, thanks to self-righting wheel centres. It's a big year at the Saturn stand. Stop by for a look at the highly anticipated Sky roadster. The rearwheel-drive drop-top, which shares a platform with the Pontiac Solstice, sets a new style standard for the GM division. Also on display is the automaker's Vue Hybrid sport-ute, which uses a "mild" hybrid system -- an electric motor that supports the SUVs existing drivetrain, resulting in mileage gains of about 10 per cent. Its best feature, however, might be its rumoured low price tag. Sporting the company's new "face" and more power underhood, the Impreza sedan and wagon also have a more refined interior and all models now have side airbags. Also check out the Forester, which is also tweaked with new styling, improved fuel economy and more powet, with the top-line 2.5XT's turbocharged boxer engine now pro ducing 230 hp. Volvo The second-generation C70 Convertible makes its Canadian debut at the CIAS. The latest model features a three-piece hard-top and a turbocharged 2.5-litre inline 5-cylinder engine worth 218 hp. The C70 includes all the safety features you'd expect in a Volvo, including whiplash protection, a collapsible steering column and door-mounted side curtain airbags. Also on display are Ocean Race Editions of the XC70 wagon and XC90 SUV. Specially designed to commemorate the automaker's sponsorship of the annual aroundthe-world yacht race, the limited edition vehicles have unique, blue-tone marine-inspired interiors and exteriors. Suzuki Saab There are a few new models at the Saab display this year. First up are the new Sportcombi models -- wagon versions of the mid-size 9-3 and pre mium 9-5 sport sedans. With flexible cargo areas, turbocharged engines arid distinctive Scandinavian styling, the Sportcombi models provide a nice mix of utility and'performance. Don't miss the heavily revised 9-5 sedan, with enhancements inside and out and more power. Also on display is the all-wheel drive 9-2X, sporty 9-3 convertible and Saab's first SUV, the 9-7X. Looking to solidify its foothold in the SUV market, Suzuki has its all-new Grand Vitara on display.
