Sheridan nearly added to its total in the 55th minute when Darragh Roe swung a ball in off the right side, but Quentin Williams' header was a touch too high and clanged off the crossbar. Sheridan would strike six minutes later though, when Mejia completed his brace with a header of his own. Sheldon Rodgers added the third Bruin tally in the 75th minute, while goalie Craig Boytchuk recorded the shutout. The Bruins will travel to take on George Brown (1-1) tomorrow (Saturday). -- Sheridan Bruins "Connected to your Community" m p i o n s The Oakville A's minor mosquito AAA team won the Ontario Baseball Association championship last weekend in an exciting fashion, throwing out a Riverside baserunner at home plate to clinch the title. "In the first half I don't know if it was some nerves -- a lot of these guys are brand new -- and I thought we played a little shaky until we got one in the back of the net," head coach Andrew Seuradge said. "By the second half we were a little bit better, some subs came in and filled in 100 per cent and we definitely finished the game better than we started." Over the opening 10 minutes of Wednesday's Ontario Colleges Athletic Association game, Seneca was able to dictate the pace, relegating the Double-Blue mostly into a defend-and-clear strategy.
