Horizon club collects 18 medals at taekwondo worlds in U.K. Members of Horizon Taekwon-Do in Oakville returned from the world championships in Brighton, England backing up what their coach promised in the weeks before the tournament. The group of seven came back from the competition with 20 medals in junior competition, including three golds and seven silvers. Head coach and club owner Louie Sanchez correctly predicted people would be surprised by the number of medals his students bring home from Brighton. The meet was the largest ever for the taekwondo worlds, drawing more than 1,000 black belts from 45 countries.
