Next job fair is October 19 Halton Region is hosting its third job fair of 2016 on Wednesday, October 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Burlington Convention Centre (1120 Burloak Drive, Burlington). We invite job seekers to bring their resumes and prepare to meet with more than 50 local employers. The October job fair will feature employers from a diverse range of industries, including technology, government, manufacturing, retail, hospitality and healthcare. Approximately 1,000 skilled and motivated job seekers are expected to attend. Every year, the Employment Halton offices in Oakville and Milton offer a comprehensive range of programs and services to more than 8,000 job seekers and over 200 employers. Employment Halton also provides extensive services to the region's employers to support their recruiting efforts with annual averages of more than 250 direct placement matches.
