Alan Adcock, Kelly Arnott, Girish Bansal, Mary Dilly, Wendy Rinella, Jasmina Garbus, and Paul Glenn will be paired up with professional dancers from Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Oakville and Hamilton to perform in front of guests at the Easter Seals Ontario event at the Burlington Convention Centre, 1120 Burloak Dr. The night begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour, followed by a four-course dinner and live dance competition showcasing local "celebrity" dancers and their professional dance partners. The pairings have spent the last few months preparing two dances for the evening competition, which will be judged by a panel, along with guests to determine which dance team will be the Stars for 2016 by the end of "This is such a great entertaining evening while raising money to help support Easter Seals kids and their families," stated Caroline Wallace, senior development officer with Easter Seals Ontario, in a media release. "The dancers dedicate so much time to put on a fantastic show for our guests, and I'd like to thank them for their tremendous commitment." For the past 93 years, Easter Seals Ontario has offered programs and services to help children and youths with physical disabilities from all ethnic and religious backgrounds achieve a greater level of acceptance and independence. Easter Seals provides financial assistance for the purchase of costly mobility equipment and communication devices and also owns and operates two fully accessible camp properties, one in London and the other near Perth, Ont.
