Volunteer workshop April 6 Linda Graff, author, trainer and consultant to the volunteer sector, will conduct a day long workshop on bound aries and new risk management on Thursday, April 6. Graff, of Dundas, Ontario, will discuss knowing the limits for organizations, staff, volunteers and programs within current new risk management in her Linda G raff presentation titled Boundaries: Do You Know Where They Are?' With more and more volunteers working on the front lines and inde pendently, new risk issues and clear boundaries need to be understood, according to Graff, who has given workshops and keynote addresses for more than 25 years across North America, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Australia. Graff, who has produced 11 books and audio resources plus countless manuals and articles on volunteerism, and is known for her dynamic presen tations, will gear her workshop towards executive directors, coordina tors and managers of volunteer pro grams and volunteers. Graff has worked in non-profit man agement since 1980, first as director of the Volunteer Centre in Hamilton and in 1989, launched her man agement consulting firm, Linda Graff and Associates Inc. She hold undergrad uate and graduate degrees from M c M a s t e r University. The workshop will be held at the Holiday Inn Oakville Centre at 590 Argus Rd., from 8:30 a.m. 4 p.m., hosted by Community Development Halton Volunteer Halton and the Halton National Volunteer Week Committee. Volunteer Week is April 23 to 29.
