Jane has been reunited with her husband, Wallace (Wally) Fletcher, who predeceased her in 1987, as well as her brother Donald Rowan. She was a loving mother to Judith (Elkins), of Victoria, BC, Sandra (Bill Dynes), of Dundas, and Graham (Cheryl), of Oakville and proud grandmother of Keith, Lindsay, Janine and Jocelyn. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her sister Ann Rowan, of Toronto, and extended family across North America. Jane lived a long and happy life. Over the years she had worked for Bell Telephone, Ford (Oakville), and Eaton's. She visited many parts of the world and lived in South Africa for several years when Wally was on assignment with Ford in the 50's. Jane, Wally and their family had a passion for golf, a sport she played into her 80's. She was a past member of Richview and Trafalgar Golf Clubs. An accomplished seamstress, she was part of the Mississauga Craft Guild for many years. Perhaps Jane's greatest gift was her voice and love of music. She sang in many church choirs throughout her life including St. Peter's Anglican Church in Mississauga as well as several years with the renowned Leslie Bell Singers of Toronto in the early 50's. We wish to thank the staff of the Brant Centre for their care and compassion. A private family interment will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society. On the morning of October 7, 2016, Olga passed away unexpectedly, but instantly and with no pain, as a result of a heart attack. Olga is the beloved wife of 44 years of Frank, loving mother of Mark (Robyn) and Daniel (Sheera), as well as grandmother, or Babi, to Max {Mark}, Ziggy and Ruthie (Daniel). She will be missed by her great-aunt Dasa Havelka and her family, her sister Marcella Gertler Zikmund and her family, as well as her dear friends, Olga Muir and her family, and Hana Venta and her family. The family will be holding a small memorial for close friends and family, Olga did not want anything more. Olga was a real firecracker; always up for a joke, a chat over her coffee and cigs, or a glass of wine. She kept you on your toes. She loved all animals, she absolutely adored her grandchildren and she was a wonderfully nurturing and fun-loving mother. Olga was a beautiful, funny, intelligent and fascinating woman. It's such a shame that we won't get to spend another summer sitting on a dock together, or an evening dancing and singing to the old record collection, or a morning reading the paper and finishing a crossword puzzle. We only wish we could share in those simple moments again. We lost you far too early. "They say that all good things must end some day, autumn leaves must fall. But don't you know that it hurts me so to say goodbye to you. Wish you didn't have to go..." From the bottom of our hearts, we wish you peace. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation in Oakville, Ontario. DECOURSEY, Gordon (Don) Victor October 31, 2014 Forever in our hearts. Love always, Lena and Emma The Oakville Beaver would like to express sincere and heart-felt condolences to those who have lost their loved ones.
