Grades 9-12 students at the local high school are putting on its production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling B ee next month. The one-act musical comedy is written by Rebecca Feldman with music and lyrics by William Finn, book by Rachel Sheinkin and additional material by Jay Reiss. The high school production is directed by Abbey Park teachers Lucy McGhee and David Willms. The show runs Dec. 1-3 at 7:30 p.m., at Abbey Park' s studio theatre, 1455 Glen Abbey Gate. Tickets cost $ 1 0 and will be sold at the APHS Studio Theatre box office in the foyer starting Nov. 14 during 11 a.m .-1:20 p.m. or at the door. Take on the Canadian M usic C la ss Challenge Oakville m usic classes will be vy ing with others across the country in the Canadian Music Class Chal lenge. A video performance and pub licity photo is also required for the application.
