Ron Grey was chairman of the event, assisted by Bill Kulik and Alan Morrison, while Jim Henderson was responsible for promotion. Top age-group players include 16 from OSC Sixteen players from the Oakville Soccer Club are among those chosen for a provincial screening program to identify top age-group players. The players are part of the OSC' s 2003-b orn Ontario Player Develop ment League (OPDL) program and were chosen by the Ontario Soccer Association. The seven OSC girls invited to take part are Jessica Dougall, Jenna Taghikhani, Amrit Singh, Alanna Delle M onache, Asha Sunner, Sophie Francuz and Mary Beth DiFonzo. The nine OSC invitees on the boys' side are Sebastian Petrilli, Yves Michel Tcheuyap, Lucas Russo, Kevin Espiro, Samir Ghouli, Ethan Mendes, Dominik Stefanski, Daniel Clarke and Adam Plichtowski. During the OPDL season, the OSA technical staff observes play ers at inter-league matches, rating their technical and tactical ability, physical literacy and fitness in a number of sub-categories. At the end of each season, the data is used to assist the selection of approximately 9 0 -1 2 0 players to attend the Provincial Screening Competition (PSC) in November. This is set for the Hanger Out door Dome in North York on Satur day, Nov. 19 for the girls and Satur day, Nov. 26 for the boys. "This is a great testament to all the players identified and I wish them all the best at their respec tive PSC days," said OSC technical director Chris Grierson, who also congratulated the players' coaches for their hard work and commit m ent to the OPDL program and OSC.
