On the heels of laurels at science and engineering fairs for her invention of a tonguecontrolled device that helps people with severe physical disabilities use computers more easily, the 18-year-old was presented with the Ontario Science Centre's 2016 Weston Youth Innovation Award Wednesday (Nov. 2) in a special ceremony held at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto. Mogus, who graduated from White Oaks Secondary School, currently attends McMaster University in Hamilton on a $80,000 scholarship to study Chemical and Physical Sciences.
