Dearly missed by his best friend, since their teen years, and his devoted wife for 58 years, Peggy, (nee Hibberd), his beloved daughter, Tenley Lauren and his grandchildren, who were the light of his life, Tyler, Justin and Bradley. Also missed by his sister, Maureen, and her family in New Zealand, and extended family in the UK. Derek retired at 65, from ITT Canada, where he was their Canadian Transportation Manager. "Eyes to the sky!" - Derek was a keen member of the YYZ Aviation group at TORONTO'S Pearson Airport, and locally, a retirees group, who met Fridays, for lunch, at the Queen's Head. Thank you to everyone who took time to visit him frequently, and for the many kindnesses extended to Peggy and Tenley, during this trying time, on a regular basis, by neighbours and friends. In keeping with Derek's wishes no visitation or service will be held. Interment at St. Jude's Cemetery, Oakville. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Derek's honour, and as a thank you for the outstanding and compassionate care on the Complex Transitional Unit, to the Oakville Hospital Foundation, 3001 Hospital Gate, Oakville, ON L6M OL8. F R E E A D M IS S IO N ! DILTS, Doris (DONNA M aggie) (BAUER Conlin) nee McClure 1947 - 2016 Donna unexpectedly passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday, September 28. Her cancer journey (Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma) began 5 years ago. Radiation therapy in 2011 kept her NHL at bay until this spring. Donna soldiered on through the long delays to diagnosis, her first round of chemotherapy and she was looking forward to recovery. Donna was predeceased by her parents William and Margaret of Belfast, NI and brother Harold (Jean Stevenson). Survived by husband Malcolm, brothers Albert (Cathy), Billy (Ann) and sister Maureen (David) Fremstad. Children: Niall (Shawneen) Brown of Bangor Northern Ireland, Jacquie Riddoch (Gord Harnett) of Barrie Ontario, Aaron (Catherine) Conlin of Oakville. Step-Daughters Felice (Tom) Dilts-Hills of Welland, Candace Armenti (nee Dilts) of Welland. Grandchildren: Sydney, Ireland and Hayden Riccoch, Liam and Ella Conlin. Step-Grandchildren Blake Harnett, Thea and Seppi Armenti. Donna truly and dearly loved all of her children and family. A memorial / celebration of life will be held for Donna on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, 320 Bronte Road, Oakville.
