Marley Ellen Brown was diagnosed shortly after birth with Moebius Syn drome, a rare neurological disorder that primarily affects the muscles controlling facial expression and eye movement. Marley, daughter of Jaclyn Brown, died on Mother' s Day (May 8) this year -- she was two years old. Connie McCulloch-Jensen is friends with Brown and decided to put on a bake sale and food truck event to raise funds for SickKids, where Marley was treated. "SickKids was our home away from home as we spent many countless nights there and the sheer dedication of all the nurses and doctors was just utterly amazing. They really do go above and beyond," wrote Brown on the SickKids fundraising page in her daughter' s memory, https://goo.gl/MA9VXd. In addition, a Handmade Market will also be held on the same day benefitting the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 486, Bronte Legion.
