The love of our lives ... husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, has left us. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years Pamela Stone (Hayes). Proud and loving father of daughter Monique "Mickie" Armstrong (Jerry) and son Shawn Stone. Beloved grandfather of Kerrick Armstrong. He will be lovingly remembered by brothers and sisters Bill, Peggy (Wally), John (Regina), Janet and Rob, brother-in-law Blair Hayes (Gail) and mother-in-law Mary Hayes and lifetime friends Don and Pixie Parkinson. BENNETT, Harold "Hal" March 15, 1934 ~ November 29, 2016 Peacefully, surrounded by family, Hal passed on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in Oakville at the age of 82. Cherished husband for 43 years to Jeanette. Predeceased by Nora Jean. Loving father to Raquel (Wendall), Doug (Val) and Chantelle (Steve). Proud grandfather of Kerig, Micayla, Dale, Robyn, Chad and Wade. Hal was born in Fortune, Newfoundland to Effie and Charles Bennett. Upon moving to Ontario, Hal started his business career in the banking industry and quickly realized that insurance was where he would shine. He soon found his true strength in insurance brokering, and throughout the next 40 plus years would rise to senior management before opening his own brokerage firm. Hal's ability to blend a trusting handshake with a strong insurance knowledge made him a huge success. Hal shared many years as an active member of the Mississaugua Golf & Country Club, where he made countless friendships and memories since becoming a member in 1968. Hal's infectious personality and wonderful sense of humour will be deeply missed by all that knew him. A Celebration of Hal's Life will be held at the Mississaugua Golf & Country Club at a later date. He did it his way. MacIVERS, Malcome (first named Brian MacIver Campbell) October 7, 1943-November 28, 2016 The Campbell/ MacIvers families are sad to announce the sudden death of Malcome MacIvers, son of Robert MacIver (deceased) and Dorothy Margaret Campbell, at home in McKinney, Texas. Left behind to grieve are his loving wife, Rosemary, children Colin Campbell (Prince George, BC) and Ileagh MacIvers (McKinney), his grandchildren, Andrew and Sophie Campbell, his mother Dorothy (Trafalgar Lodge, Oakville), sisters Karen Cudmore (Arnstein, ON) and Joan Campbell (Brantford, ON), and nephewsadopted sons, William and Steven Ho (Texas). Malcome will be especially remembered for his gift as a raconteur and his incredible memory for detail.
